A couple weeks ago, Lauren and Zoe braved the ridiculous weekend MTA service advisories and made it down to Brooklyn on a beautiful summer-like day to grab a Starbucks then head to a handmade craft fair, where her friend Karina was selling her very cute kid/baby stuff from her business Windows of Agate. =) It was at the Brooklyn Lyceum, it was a very cool space, and it was PACKED with cool art, crafts, people, and delicious food. It was a short outing, but fun! =)
Last week I met Matt at work and we walked around the area and had a date night! We walked through Chelsea Market (cool!), grabbed dinner, did some shopping, and got dessert! We also checked out the Highline Park for the first time. It is an old elevated train track that they turned in to a long park with many benches and trees, and a view of the Hudson! It was very cool.

Since Matt got his new job, it has inspired some Hart girls + Karen dates at Barnes and Noble. We have had a lot of fun, and Zoe thinks that place is just great with all of the books. Barnes and Noble brews Starbucks coffee. =) Here Zoe is enjoying her caramel milk while Lauren enjoys her first Frappuccino in YEARS because they finally make them in soy! YAY!

This past weekend Matt and I drove to Pennsylvania to see my great friend Stephanie who was my roommate Junior year of college, who is currently on leave from Iraq. She was having a bridal shower! It was a couples shower so I got to see her fiance too! I also was given a "bridesmaid" button to wear at the shower. haha! This shower was unique. It had a magician, and most importantly, ICE CREAM SUNDAES! =)

2 days later, Steph and her fiance, Dan came to visit NYC for a few hours. I met them at the Empire State building, then showed them around Bryant Park and Times Square. Even though it was a short time, we sure had fun. I miss them already! Safe travels back to Iraq! Thanks for all you do in serving our country guys! =)

And, of course, we went geo-casching or however you say it! So much fun at the Brooklyn craft fair- thanks for that and we always love the coffee dates!
